With Koala, chat isn’t a feature. It’s everything.

In 2018, I was the Lead Designer and Product Manager for an Research & Development team building IDT’s next-gen app.
The scope centered around video calling and messaging. We focused on blending applications with these experiences seamlessly.
The vision for Koala was to
layer applications onto the messaging and video experiences to provide rich, social interactions.
This project ultimately became the redesigned calling app, utilizing much of the design language and functionality.
